After two distressed and isolated pandemic years, Flica seeks inspiration from the essential element that links all aspects of our existence - water.

Flica’s sixth album, “From the Mountain to the Sea”, is an ode to water. With eight tracks named after various water bodies in Malaysia, they attempt to articulate the subject as a substance as well as a source, painting not just the different permutations of water but various physical manifestations with a gentle blend of piano and synthesizer textures. Like drawing refreshing spring water from a deep well, Flica expresses the odyssey that hints at the multifaceted relationships with life forms in each track.

The album is supported by Malaysia’s Cultural Economy Development Agency (CENDANA)
